4th of July Style on a budget!

I love holidays!!!
I love to having a theme to shop for!!!
However it is VERY easy to get carried away when buying for the holidays!

I ask myself 3 questions when buying themed apparel

1. Am I getting a good deal/holiday sale?

WAIT till the sale!!!! Old Navy and Gap had AWESOME deals this year for the 4th!! This is also a PERFECT time to buy items that normally aren't on sale! I have been waiting these boyfriend jeans shorts from Gap. They are normally $49.95 insert sad face here :(. But Gap saved the day with their 50% sale! I got them for $25!

2. How wearable is this item?

This scarf was $10.00 from Forever21 I love love love the tassels and faded stripes! I knew that I would be wearing this scarf again and again this summer! The wedges from Old Navy I originally wanted to purchase in red but decided on the chambray. Jean is pretty much a neutral in my book ;) also they were on clearance! ;)

3. Bang for your buck
It's so easy to get sucked into buying more then you need in the holiday sections of stores! I choose this hair bow from Forever 21 it was $2.99 which I thought was a good price for something I might not wear again till next year! These star glasses were also a steal at $3.99! This old navy bikini top was 50% off so it was $7 I already owned the white and I just added some Navy ribbon from Hobby Lobby for $2.00 to make this look more patriotic! Flip Flops from old navy $2
